Carruthers Associates has just launched a new web based design service. Their woven fabric design and marketing expert, Hamish Carruthers and leading CAD specialist Dave Kemp, have developed it, over the past three years.
This new interactive site is called Scotcloth©.
A large archive of digitally created woven textile designs; it is the ultimate tool for professional textile, designers and innovators as well as Retail Groups and Textile Manufacturers throughout the World
At its simplest, it can be used to view and purchase designs from the comprehensive library of textile images with full technical making details and Pantone® colour references.
Use it as it appears, or, within Scotcloth©, redevelop the initial design by altering weave construction, dimensions and colour, through easy button clicks, to create images for your own design needs. Once purchased, the design is copyright free and available for download together with manufacturing details and Pantone® colour references.
