The very important topic of Ecology and textiles was the subject of Carruthers Associates seminars at the recent Spin Expo. Extensive research was presented and a range of knitted fabrics in yarns from exhibitors, covering four different groups, was shown in the central exhibition area. Groups included:- Good for the environment, Good for you, New sustainable fibres and Organic. There was much interest amongst visitors about on this much debated subject
